Tire Kingdom Joins the Mavis Tire Family
Tire Kingdom was founded in 1972 by Chuck Curcio in a small farmer’s market stall in West Palm Beach, Florida. Built on a foundation of best-in-class customer service, hard work, and automotive know-how, the brand quickly expanded across the state and earned a reputation for fast, dependable auto care. In 2023, Tire Kingdom was acquired by Mavis Tire.
A Brand Built to Grow
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Tire Kingdom expanded beyond Florida, with stores opening in Georgia, Louisiana, the Carolinas, and even as far as New Hampshire and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The brand changed hands several times - first acquired by Michelin in 1989, then sold to an investment group led by Goldman Sachs in 1993, before being purchased by TBC Corporation in 2000. Under TBC, the brand continued to grow until a 2015 realignment rebranded many out-of-state Tire Kingdom stores under the NTB name, with the Tire Kingdom name remaining focused primarily on its Florida roots.
Tire Kingdom Joins Mavis Tire
In June 2023, Mavis Tire acquired the Tire Kingdom brand from TBC Corporation, including over 200 company-operated locations. Today, Tire Kingdom is fully owned and operated by Mavis Tire, continuing to serve Florida drivers under the same trusted name and commitment to expert service. Tire Kingdom remains a leading tire and auto care provider in Florida and parts of the Southeast. Customers continue to rely on the brand for fast, professional service from experienced technicians, now with the added convenience of online scheduling at Mavis.com.
